This beer is known for its deep copper colour with its nutty after tones and its distinctive hoppy background. The James Squire Amber Ale was created over 140 years ago, crafted from a blend of amber malts and hops, our recipe is not to be misrepresenting this original but is inspired by the original and will come very close. As the beer matures, the flavours will intensify.
INGREDIENTS
- Morgans Amber Ale 1.5kg
- Mangrove Jacks pure malt amber 1.5kg
- 1x Ella Finishing Hops
- US-05 Ale yeast
21L, makes 20L of beer (60 330ml stubbies) with an estimated alcohol of approximate 5%
